While it's not so much KM as marketing, I've been finding DoshDosh really useful lately. So much of getting the most out of any organizational resource comes from the ability to get user buy in (which sometimes requires a little internal marketing). I'm not sure I'm necessarily saying that I'm going to start a Viral Marketing campaign to sell the idea of my companies internal document libraries, but if I could figure out a way to make it work, then so much the better.
Also, on the Twitter front, have you tried Tweetdeck? It allows you to keep searches open and returning results live to the desktop client. It doesn't support all of the search syntax that search.twitter.com does (yet) but it's still a pretty good utility to have around.
I've put in a feature request for them to fix the search syntax in their feedback forums, so if you like it and would like more search features, vote me up :)

I've not seen DoshDosh, so I'll check that out tonight.
I do like tweetdeck's filtering options by my daytime interaction with is mostly limited to RSS feeds and the occasional tweet via IM... I try not to keep twitter open 24/7.
I do have tweetdeck at home and I'll have to remember to load it up at night.

It's like a mashup of several different great components along with some ingenious creations of their own.
Most A-listers you run into are completely full of themselves, are off in celebrity mode, and lost track of the trenches long ago. I don't like the way many of them treat people like flocks of sheep that'll mindlessly hoof-it wherever directed. Here are two exceptions that don't readily appear to bias their information with their opinions (unless expressly stated):

Jeremiah Owyang - Is a top notch aggregator. Many people follow him and he's able to get nice sample of opinions and sentiment quickly and shares his findings. He is a community builder, and very knowledgeable.

Connie Bensen - A community management ace, Connie's blog is a plethora of information and her writing is precision. She's most personable, very busy in high demand, and I've referred to her as my 'Social Media Angel' at least a couple of times.
I recognize Ms. Bensen and Mr. Owyang from some of your past updates on twitter and your blog, I'll be following each of them intently now.
